We hope that the honey and other products do well enough to put us on the path to our own apiary, but we also know that honey is expensive! On average, it takes about a year before new apiaries start seeing honey production levels high enough for what we’d need to make our products. So the earlier we can hit our goal, the better.
Why give?
We have a lot to learn, we know that. But we’re ready to jump into this and absorb as much as we can. We’re watching videos, joining local clubs, and reading everything we can. But we’re also making our hot honey and other products, working our day jobs, and Jordyn is marketing and writing her books, so there’s not a lot of extra time to make extra product. Donating toward our apiary would help us offset some of the cost of production of our small batch products.
